Cynical Darcel is a semi-autobigraphical character developed by Rinzen co-founder Craig Redman. The highly followed blog covers everything from inconsequential solitary moments to inappropriately intoxicated action at crowded launch parties. Art, shopping, dining, boozing, aspirations and anxiety all fall victim to Darcel’s monocled purview. ‘Art’ follows Darcel’s movements through the artworld, from disdain to rapture we see our hero traverse the world’s most prestigious and exclusive showings.
Redman has exhibited his art at, most notably, the Louvre, Paris and has worked with high end brands such as Louis Vuitton, The Nowness, Nike, Apple, Vanity Fair and The New York Times.
