Olt Aicher And The Munich Olympiad.

Olt Aicher was born in Ulm, Germany in 1922. At age 26 opened his own design Studio. In 1953 co-founded a design institute. Became rector between 1962 and 1964.

Pioneering work led him and his team to the Munich Olympiad of 1972. The pictogram system created by Aicher and his most talented students for this event has become since then, the international Standard.
